  • Job Description

    The Evening Shift Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, and smooth operation of a combined 12-lane bowling alley, pizza restaurant, and cinema with concessions during evening hours. This role ensures an excellent customer experience, supports operational standards, supervises cross-functional teams, and acts on behalf of the Manager or Assistant Manager when needed.

    MAJOR DUTIES:

     Team Supervision & Leadership • Oversee all as scheduled during daytime or evening hours staff including front counter attendants, bowling mechanics, kitchen staff, snack bar/concession attendants, and cinema personnel. • Prepare and adjust shift schedules to ensure proper coverage across all departments. • Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to ensure service standards are met. • Coach and mentor team members; provide verbal feedback or initiate disciplinary actions when necessary. • Conduct shift briefings to align staff with daily goals, promotions, and operational updates. • Escalate issues as appropriate and ensure handover to Activity Manager or Assistant Manager. Bowling Alley Operations • Ensure efficient and accurate customer check-in, lane assignment, and shoe rental. • Assist mechanics with troubleshooting lane or pinsetter issues if needed. • May perform maintenance and trouble-shooting on pin spotter machines. May be required to perform regular lane maintenance in the absence of mechanic.

    • Inspects facility and checks equipment for cleanliness, neatness, and proper functioning. Ensures that worn or broken mechanical parts are repaired or replaced. • Ensures that machines areas are clean, that all tools have been replaced and that equipment is properly stored before going off duty. • Ensure leagues, parties, and lane reservations are honored as scheduled. • Perform and document nightly lane and equipment checks. • Organise events as required. Restaurant (Pizza) Operations • Oversee kitchen staff and food prep activities to ensure quality and food safety. • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies; alert management when restocking is needed. • Ensure the restaurant area and outside area is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with health regulations. • Support customer orders during busy times to maintain service speed and quality.

    Cinema & Concessions Operations

     • Supervise cinema staff in ticketing, ushering, and theater cleanliness. • Ensure timely movie starts and proper functioning of projection equipment (coordinate with AV team or manager as needed). • Oversee concession stand operations, including food prep, inventory, and sales. • Monitor cleanliness and seating areas; ensure restrooms and lobbies are properly maintained

    Administrative & Financial Duties

    • Receive and reconcile nightly change funds and prepare nightly cash deposits. • Complete nightly sales reports, inventory counts, and shift handover documentation. • Maintain accurate incident logs and maintenance request reports. • Support audits.

     Facility & Safety Oversight

    • Conduct facility walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all areas. • Coordinate minor maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed during shift. • Enforce safety procedures and company policies with both staff and patrons. • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

     Other Duties

    • Represent the management team professionally in all interactions. • Participate in training and development sessions as assigned. • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Section or Assistant Manager.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
